Basil has a fresh and sparkly fragrance with a rich balsamic undertone. We all know it as the “typically Italian” kitchen herb, even though Basil originated in Asia. The natural perfume industry likes the oil because of its unique fragrance. Aromatherapy uses Basil, which may grow up to 50 cm tall, because of its relaxing and tension-relieving properties. Essential Basil oil can be used as 100% natural nerve-tonic or to help ease indigestion or a susceptibility to tensions. Our organic essential Basil oil is ct. methylchavicol (estragol).
