Data Protection

PRIVACY POLICY

We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We have always treated your personal data confidentially and will continue to do so in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy. We respect your privacy and will do our utmost to protect it. We will never offer or sell your data.

We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions (GDPR, TKG 2003). In this privacy information, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing within the framework of our website.

CONTACT WITH US

If you contact us via a form on the website or by e-mail, the data you provide will be stored by us for six months for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent.

DATA STORAGE

We would like to point out that for the purpose of simplifying the shopping process and for later contract processing, the web shop operator stores the IP data of the connection owner within the framework of cookies. We collect personal data if you voluntarily provide it to us as part of your order, when contacting us (e.g. via contact form or e-mail) or when opening a customer account. Which data is collected can be seen from the respective input forms. The data you provide is required for contract fulfillment or for carrying out pre-contractual measures. Without this data, we cannot conclude the contract with you.

Data will not be transferred to third parties, with the exception of the transfer of credit card data to the processing banking institutions/payment service providers for the purpose of debiting the purchase price, to the transport/shipping company commissioned by us for the delivery of the goods, and to our tax advisor to fulfill our tax obligations.

After cancellation of the shopping process, the data stored by us will be deleted. In the event of a contract being concluded, all data from the contractual relationship will be stored until the expiry of the tax retention period (7 years).

The data name, address, purchased goods and date of purchase will furthermore be stored until the expiry of product liability (10 years). Data processing is carried out on the basis of the statutory provisions of § 96 para. 3 TKG and Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a (consent) and/or lit. b (necessary for contract fulfillment) of the GDPR.

COOKIES

Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your device with the help of the browser. They do not cause any damage. We use cookies to make our offer user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. They enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit. If you do not wish this, you can set up your browser so that it informs you about the setting of cookies and you allow this only in individual cases. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of our website may be restricted.

WEB ANALYSIS

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (www.google.de). Cookies are used for this purpose, which enable an analysis of the use of the website by your users. The information generated thereby is transmitted to the provider's server and stored there. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. In the case of activation of IP anonymization on this website, however, your IP address will be shortened by Google beforehand within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.

You can prevent this by setting your browser so that no cookies are stored. As an alternative to a browser plugin, you can click on this link to prevent the collection by Google Analytics on this website in the future. An opt-out cookie will be stored on your device. If you delete your cookies, you must click the link again. We have concluded a corresponding contract with the provider for commissioned data processing. Data processing is carried out on the basis of the statutory provisions of § 96 para. 3 TKG as well as Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a (consent) and/or f (legitimate interest) of the GDPR. Our concern within the meaning of the GDPR (legitimate interest) is the improvement of our offer and our website. Since the privacy of our users is important to us, user data is pseudonymized [pseudonymization is recommended for the legal basis “legitimate interest”; this must be clarified with the web analysis service].

YOUR RIGHTS

You are generally entitled to the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, withdrawal and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection rights have otherwise been violated in any way, you can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the Data Protection Authority.
