Peppermint Arvensis is also called corn mint or field mint. The plant can grow up to 30 cm tall and prefers temperate climate zones or (sub)tropical regions. Around the globe it is found in herbal gardens. The strongly cooling oil is often used in massage oils for muscle and joint complaints. TCM uses it for all heat conditions and nervous disorders in children. In Arab countries people turn to the oil in order to strengthen general conditions.
