The orange tree may grow up to 10 meters tall. It can produce fruits all year. In Europe, orange trees are harvested mainly in late fall or winter. The essential oil, which is cold pressed from the peel, is a by-product of the orange juice production. The oil is traditionally valued as aid to soothe Stomach cramps or chronic stress.
